What are fellowship events?
Want to know where Plumtree windmill used to be, or discover the sort of sweets Jesus might have enjoyed as a boy?
By joining in with Plumtree Church fellowship events, you'll learn all this - and much more! All our events are really good fun (if we do say so ourselves) and very varied. Ideal for all the family, from primary school age upwards, events are organised by our knowledgeable Reader at St. Mary's, Paul Olejnik, with the support of Church members. They're informal gatherings held occasionally during the year, often on a Saturday afternoon.
Sometimes we go for a walk in the surrounding area, learning all sorts of local history as we go. Other times, we'll take over the "Burnside Hall" for an interesting, fun activity and maybe some cookery. There's almost always food involved (hot chocolate and marshmallows, picnic lunches, hot suppers - we've even made our own bread in a rustic clay oven) and there's usually a link somewhere to the Old or New Testament.
Come and join in the fun, maybe learn or re-discover the skills of past times and make new friends.
