The Church Electoral Roll is the Plumtree ecclesistical parish's register of electors; i.e. those people qualified to vote at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM), see Annual Church Meetings.

You don't need to be on the Electoral Roll to be a member of St Mary's Church; simply regarding St Mary's as your spiritual home does that. In fact, a condition of joining the Church Electoral Roll is that the person is already a member of St Mary's Church.

Being on the Church Electoral Roll is a way of demonstrating your willingness to help shape the future of the Church, not just locally, but nationally and even internationally.  In fact it enables you to use your voting rights to influence the running of the Church at the highest organisational level.

Membership also entitles you to have access to the approved minutes of Parochial Church Council meetings (except any minutes deemed to be confidential).

The Church Electoral Roll is revised annually by the Electoral Roll Officer Every sixth year, instead of a revision, a completely new Roll has to be prepared. This last occurred in 2019.
