We hold the following regular services:

A Sunday morning service, usually held on the first Sunday of the month, and also used for celebrations such as Christmas, Easter and other Festival occasions in the Church Calendar.

The service is a service of Holy Communion and usually includes a sermon and four hymns. The term "Sung" means that, in addition to the hymns, some parts of the service are sung by the congregation.  The words and music are in the service booklet and are easy to sing!

This service is also held on Sunday mornings. It's a slightly less formal version of the Sung Eucharist during which only the hymns are sung.

We hold this occasionally on Sunday mornings. It's basically Morning Prayer (see below), taken from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP), and includes hymns, a sermon, and sung responses.

This Sunday morning service is a modern language version of Matins (see above) without the sung responses. The service includes a sermon and, usually, five hymns.

This service is held on Wednesday mornings. It's a shorter (said) version of a Eucharist service, without the hymns or a sermon.

If your Church does not hold a regular evensong service and you enjoy music and singing – this service is definitely for you!

This service is held on those Sunday evenings when the service in the morning was a Eucharist. It is taken from the Book of Common Prayer and includes hymns, a sermon and a psalm.

This service is held on those Sunday evenings when the service in the morning was not a Eucharist. It is taken from the Book of Common Prayer and includes hymns, a sermon and Holy Communion.

This service is held several times throughout the year and is tailored for families with children. It has popular hymns, shorter readings and, instead of a sermon, the children are directly involved in the proceedings.

Notes

If you don't take communion you're welcome to come to the altar for a blessing, or you can stay in your seat, if you prefer. If you'd like to take communion but are unable to come to the altar, we'll bring communion to you where you sit.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after the Sunday morning and Wednesday morning services.
