Helping in Church
This section lists some of the more routine activities associated with running the church. However they are essential to the wellbeing of the church and only require a small commitment of your time.
Tea and Coffee Rota
Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after Sunday morning services, usually to between 50 and 75 members of the congregation and choir. To assist in this activity, there are teams of two or three people who make the drinks, dispense the biscuits and wash up afterwards. This is a vital task as it assists in the fellowship work of the church. If you'd like to join in, add your name to the rota at the back of church.
Cleaning
The church is cleaned once a week (and the brasses are cleaned once a month). This is a vital task which keeps the church in pristine condition for regular services, weddings, baptisms and funerals. If you'd like to be part of this activity, please contact Rosemary Jordan for inclusion on the cleaning rota(s).
Tidying the Churchyard
Keeping the churchyard tidy is one of those unseen tasks that are carried out unnoticed. If an occasional spot of outdoor activity appeals to you, please get in touch with Tony Darby.
