Dear friends

Re:  Let's meet under the walnut tree

"Yay" as our young people (and some of our not-so-young people) would exclaim - fellowship events can restart, so here is a date for your diary:

Saturday 23rd October, start time, 2.00pm

Safeguards will be in place and all of our time together will be outdoors.  Weather permitting, we'll share a gentle, reconnecting, time make the most of of an opportunity to reconnect with ourselves, each other, our Church and our surroundings.

We'll meet in St Mary's churchyard, under the walnut tree, near the Hopkinson memorial. Rainbows, poetry, tales from around the world, some strange plants and .. a glimpse into the future!  What better way to say "Welcome Back" to our fellowship activities?!

Please do remember to bring your own snacks and a drink.  Whilst we hope to be able to offer refreshments very soon, for the moment we still need to be careful about gathering in close groups.  Well behaved dogs are welcome. As always, please wear sensible sturdy footwear and bring warm, waterproof clothing, just in case.

We'll thenmake our way to Flawforth churchyard and take time to reflect on our experiences - both positive and negative of the pandemic and lockdowns. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me by phone, text or email (see the poster above for details) and I look forward to seeing you under the walnut tree!

God bless,

Paul
