Shoebox Appeal -

The "Love in a Box" Christmas Shoebox Appeal is organised by Children in Distress and has been supported by the congregation of St Mary's Plumtree for many years. "Love in a Box" ensures that infants and children in orphanages and from the poorest families, as well as the elderly in hospices or hospitals, know that someone cares for them and that they receive a small gift at Christmas. Shoeboxes are filled with little gifts to keep the recipients warm, clean and entertained, wrapped in bright Christmas wrapping paper.
A reminder that Sunday, 6th November is the deadline for bringing your filled and gift-wrapped shoeboxes into church. If you would like to get involved, drop Churchwarden Pauline and email by clicking HERE
